By compacting a precise blend of meshed limestone aggregates and lime, we create walls with exceptional compressive strength and seismic resilience, allowing load-bearing construction.
We also incorporate wood, bamboo, or rattan as structural frames of our earthen homes, harnessing their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and inherent flexibility to boost earthquake resilience. These organic frames bend and sway with seismic forces, ensuring our multi-storey earthen homes remain robust and stable, even in the most challenging environments.

Fireproof resilience

Earth is inherently fireproof, making rammed earth an ideal shield against fires and extreme heat. CSIRO testing (Bulletin 5: Earth-Wall Construction, Fourth Edition) confirms a 250mm earth block wall endures fire for 4 hours, while a 150mm wall holds firm for 3 hours and 41 minutes. Our 300mm monolithic rammed earth walls exceed these benchmarks, delivering unmatched fire resilience with no vulnerable mortar joints.
